I so miss the days when I slept for 12 hours a night and took a nap during the day. The first trimester sleep fest is a thing of the past and now it's SO hard to sleep! By the time I finally doze off, it seems like I am awoken in a few hours either to go to the restroom or because my arm has fallen asleep. I feel like a fish out of water flopping from side to side. I also have been waking up starving in the middle of the night...the kind of hungry where your stomach physically aches for food. I just indulged in a cinnamon roll and a glass of milk. I guess that's a perk of being awake so early : )
My doctor's appointment went well. I'm measuring right on track at 28cm and am awaiting my glucose test results. I should hear back by Monday at the latest...hopefully good news.
Luke built the glider chair yesterday and it makes the nursery look so much more complete. The bedding should be in late next week which means I will be having a lot of fun putting all the finishing touches on the room. I can't wait for our little girl to occupy her room!
"In him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in his holy name. May your unfailing love rest upon us, O Lord, even as we put our hope in you."
