Little Camille is learning new things each day. Her newest activity is rolling from her back to her tummy and doing a big push up. If you lay her down she flips herself within seconds and holds her head high with her arms fully extended. She always looks so proud of herself. She will do this for an hour before she tires of it. The funny part is that although she knows how to roll from tummy to back, now that all she wants to do is flip the other way, she'll just cry until I flip her to her back again.
I don't know if there's any truth to this but it seems like every time she hits a milestone she regresses with her sleeping. She has not slept well for the past week and basically refused to nap all day yesterday. It's as if all she can think is "I must roll!"
Needless to say the lack of sleep is beginning to wear on both Luke and I. It's amazing how much sleep affects your ability to be a good mom. I can tell a huge difference in my patience and my desire to play. Hopefully, her sleeping will get back on track when rolling and pushing up becoming old hat. But of course, then she'll be sitting up and crawling and obsessed with those new fun skills :)
