Camille is a year old! Tonight as the clock struck 8:10pm, I couldn't help but reminisce about where I was a year ago today. Her party was a success and we enjoyed celebrating her with family and friends. Personally, I celebrated making it through my first year of mommyhood and coming out of it a better person.
Camille is showing more and more of her personality each day and I am so enjoying discovering who she is becoming. She is smart, sensitive, adventurous, funny, expressive, and a big eater for such a little girl. She loves to play games. Her favorites are "chase" and "hide and seek". She enjoys when mommy and daddy make silly faces. She gives kisses, but only if she feels like being sweet. She lets you know when she is displeased and knows how to get what she wants. She is now walking ALL over the place and rarely wants to be held unless she is tired or fearful. She can make elephant and dog sounds and is so proud of herself when she does it. She also responds to "How big is Camille?" by throwing her arms above her head as you declare "SO BIG!" If you say, "AWWW!" she cocks her head to the side and cuddles with whatever soft thing is near her. I am in awe of how much a baby can grow and change in one year! I look forward to watching her develop through the years. I am such a proud mommy :)
