S is for Strep

Camille has not been herself the last couple of days and has been running a fever. I decided to take her to the doctor yesterday and I am so glad I did cause she has strep throat :( It's so hard to see your child in pain. She was prescribed her first-ever antibiotic. It's the "bubblegum medicine", as I used to call it when I was little. I got it all the time due to my recurring episodes of strep throat, which eventually led to the removal of my tonsils at age 7. I'm praying that this doesn't become a consistent battle with this bacteria. For now, I'm giving Camille extra TLC and hoping the bubblegum liquid kicks in and she's better soon!
